Mavs are disinterested however I think the suns have the pieces such as shawn marion, raja bell, and barbosa. If they dont trade kobe to the suns they wont get equal value and will it be the worse trade in nba history since trading shaq for garbage except lamar odom.

A deal within their divsion is not gonna happen simply because the Lakers don't wanna face Kobe 3 more times this year and possibly more in the playoffs.

You don't make a trade just to make a trade...you need to look at other factors too such as how your rivals in your division are doing

first thing, never deal within the division. second, marion, barbosa, and bell wont get it done. LA will and should ask for more. if you want kobe, you better start with stoudemire not marion. and the best place to trade kobe is to the east. chicago has the best amount of young cheap talented players to satisfy LA. problem is that kobe has a no trade clause which makes it virtually impossible for LA to make a fair deal in which kobe, LA, and the other team all agree to something.
