mavs and lakers wouldnt do this trade. utah might, the suns will. mavs arent going to trae away terry and diop for those four. they get no point guard, and take on more salary and fill the slots at forwards(which they dont need), doesnt make sense for them. lakers wouldnt trade away odom, hes a big part of their triangle, he distributes and starts the the offense. hes a versatile player who has more offensive game than marion. theyre also not getting any 3 point shooters in this trade, which they would need.

I really don't think that Utah and Dallas are getting better. However, that trade could have been one of the greatest trades ever.

wow that was a good trade for everyone, dallas gets the best of it though..and either la or utah get the worst but its all good
well it failed due to salary cap. but this is the first blockbuster trade that makes any sense and would actually work for each team. i think that it was a good thought, tho it wont ever happen.

That link said that the trade failed. But I really don't think it would have held a candle to the big 3 in Boston.
